Caring and Compassionate Legal Help in Family Law Matters and Civil Litigation (Negotiation and Settlement, Trials, Appeals)

FAMILY LAW
Marital Dissolutions (Divorces)

We provide caring, compassionate and sensible advice to our clients who are experiencing marital difficulties and are contemplating, or going through, a breakup. Our representation in negotiations and contested proceedings is designed to get the optimal result for our clients with the least difficulty and expense. We have over thirty years of experience representing husbands and wives, young and old, with and without minor children, with and without large marital estates and/or incomes.
Post-Judgment Proceedings
We also handle matters that arise after the divorce is final: enforcement and modification of custody, visitation, child support, maintenance, and related matters; removal cases (where the custodial parent wishes to move the child out of state); college-age expense and support matters; and enforcement of property settlement provisions.
Parentage Cases
We represent clients dealing with the legal aspects of children born outside of marriage: determinations of parentage, and related issues (original and post-judgment) including custody, visitation, removal, and support.

CIVIL LITIGATION
If you have any kind of a potential or actual dispute with another person or entity, we can help. We have experience in most common kinds of civil litigation, on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants.

APPEALS
We have considerable experience in handling all aspects of criminal and civil appeals in Illinois, in front of the various branches of the Illinois Appellate Court as well as the Illinios Supreme Court.
Please remember that an appeal must be commenced within 30 days of the final judgment in the case. If you are considering appeal of an adverse judgment, please contact us immediately so that we may have time to act on your behalf.
